We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Electrophysiologist (EP) to join our cardiovascular team. This specialist will diagnose and treat complex heart rhythm disorders, perform advanced electrophysiology procedures, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in electrophysiological techniques, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to advancing cardiac care through innovation, education, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

​

Clinical Care & Diagnostics

  • Diagnose and treat a full spectrum of cardiac arrhythmias and heart rhythm disorders.

  • Perform and interpret non-invasive and invasive diagnostic tests, including ECGs, Holter monitoring, stress testing, and electrophysiology studies.

  • Analyze cardiac electrical activity and identify abnormal rhythm patterns with precision.

Procedures & Interventions

  • Perform catheter ablation procedures to correct arrhythmias using advanced mapping and ablation technologies.

  • Implant and manage cardiac rhythm devices, including pacemakers, ICDs, and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices.

  • Ensure safe, evidence-based procedural care with meticulous attention to patient outcomes.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

  • Provide clear patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, device management, and long-term care plans.

  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and interdisciplinary planning.

Research, Innovation & Quality

  • Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance the understanding and treatment of electrophysiological conditions.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, guidelines, and best practices in electrophysiology.

  • Contribute to quality improvement programs focused on patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

​

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology with subspecialty training in Electrophysiology.

  • Current and unrestricted state medical license (or ability to obtain).

  • Demonstrated expertise in electrophysiology procedures, device implantation, and arrhythmia management.

  • Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

  • Commitment to patient-centered care, continuous learning, and clinical excellence.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient EP care.

  • Participation in research, publications, or clinical trials.

  • Proven ability to educate patients, families, and clinical staff.

  • Strong emergency response skills for acute arrhythmia management.
