Position Summary

​

A leading Northern New Hampshire hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its anesthesia team. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, comfortable with a broad anesthesia caseload, and experienced in OB/GYN and VATS (Video‑Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery).

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high‑quality anesthesia care for surgical, obstetric, and procedural patients

• Manage all phases of anesthesia: pre‑op assessment, induction, maintenance, emergence, and post‑op care

• Deliver anesthesia for OB/GYN, including labor epidurals and C‑sections

• Provide anesthesia support for VATS and thoracic procedures

• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams

• Participate in a shared call rotation (5 days/month) with additional stipend

• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all regulatory and safety standards

 

Qualifications

• Current CRNA certification and active RN/APRN license

• Experience with OB/GYN anesthesia required

• Experience with VATS or thoracic anesthesia strongly preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work both independently and within a team

• Commitment to patient safety, communication, and high‑quality care
