Position Overview

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join this hospital's collaborative emergency department team in Northern New Hampshire. This role offers a balanced mix of clinical autonomy, strong specialist support, and a sustainable schedule in a close-knit hospital environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a broad range of emergency presentations, enjoys rural/community medicine, and values high-quality, patient-centered care without the burnout of large urban EDs.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to adult and pediatric patients

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and traumatic injuries

• Perform common emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients

• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, hospitalists, specialists, and transfer centers

• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMR

• Participate in a fair and predictable shift rotation

 

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
  (Family Medicine with significant ED experience may be considered)

• Active or eligible New Hampshire medical license

• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain)

• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork mindset
