A hospital in Northern New England is seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join their community. This high-compensation opportunity offers one office day and three dedicated days for endoscopic surgeries, serving a diverse patient population with a wide range of gastroenterological needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients to assess symptoms, review medical history, and determine appropriate care plans.

• Perform specialized diagnostic tests, including endoscopic and colonoscopic procedures.

• Analyze patient historical data and coordinate with primary care physicians.

• Collaborate with specialists, such as oncologists, for complex cases.

• Perform imaging-related evaluations, including X-rays, MRIs, and ultrasound scans.

• Conduct surgical interventions within the digestive tract when necessary.

• Maintain a patient-centered approach, ensuring compassionate and clear communication.

 

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO).

• Completion of a three-year internal medicine residency.

• Completion of a three-year gastroenterology fellowship.

• Board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

• Expertise in endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.

• Proficiency with imaging modalities (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound).

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
