A trusted and well-established hospital in Northern New England is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its Emergency and Urgent Care team. About the Role

In this role, you’ll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of conditions in both emergency and urgent care settings. You’ll work alongside skilled physicians and clinical staff while maintaining the autonomy to make independent medical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams

Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses and injuries

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging

Prescribe medications and create individualized treatment plans

Assist in procedures and respond to medical emergencies as needed

Educate patients and families on treatment and follow-up care

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Qualifications

Current Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility) in the state of practice

Emergency medicine and/or urgent care experience required

New graduates will not be considered

Strong diagnostic and procedural skills

Ability to thrive in a high-volume, team-oriented clinical setting
