About the Role
​
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oncologist to provide specialized care for patients with cancer. This position focuses on diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of oncology patients while ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
As an Oncologist, you will deliver expert clinical services, guide patients and families through complex treatment decisions, and contribute to advancing oncology practice and research.
Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Expertise

Diagnose and manage cancer and related conditions using evidence-based practices.

Develop individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care.

Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as needed.

Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.

Coordinate referrals and collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists.

Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
Safety & Quality

Adhere to oncology protocols, hospital policies, and regulatory standards.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Promote safe administration of high-risk medications and therapies.

Maintain compliance with institutional and national oncology guidelines.
Collaboration & Education

Work closely with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and administrative teams.

Participate in tumor boards, multidisciplinary case conferences, and committee meetings.

Provide mentorship and education to trainees and colleagues in oncology best practices.

Contribute to clinical research and represent the team at professional forums.
Qualifications

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution

Board certification or eligibility in Oncology/Hematology

Current and unrestricted state medical license

Minimum of 2 years of oncology experience preferred

Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
