Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Palliative Care Physician to join our interdisciplinary care team. This role focuses on improving quality of life for patients with serious, chronic, or life-limiting illnesses through expert symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and collaborative care planning.
Key Responsibilities

Provide inpatient and/or outpatient palliative care consultations

Manage complex symptoms including pain, dyspnea, nausea, anxiety, and depression

Lead advance care planning and goals-of-care discussions with patients and families
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, social work, chaplaincy, and case management
-
Support patients across the continuum of care, including serious illness and end-of-life care

Educate patients, families, and staff on palliative care principles

Document care plans clearly and in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
-
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Palliative Care (or eligibility through primary specialty)

Active or eligible medical license in the practicing state

Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach

Commitment to compassionate, high-quality care
Preferred Experience
-
Experience in inpatient consultative palliative care and/or outpatient clinics
-
Background in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Oncology
-
Hospice and palliative medicine fellowship training (preferred but not required depending on eligibility)
