About the Role

​

As a key member of the Internal Medicine service, you’ll manage hospitalized adult patients alongside a collaborative team of physicians, nurses, and specialists. You’ll play an integral role in daily rounds, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and transitions of care.

 

What You’ll Do

​

• Perform detailed patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic studies

• Prescribe medications and perform procedures within scope of practice

• Partner with attending physicians and nursing staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

• Participate in discharge planning and patient education

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the EHR system

 

What We’re Looking For

​

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program

• Current NCCPA certification and active New York PA license

• DEA registration (or eligibility)

• Minimum of 1–2 years of inpatient or hospital medicine experience

• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
