Position Overview
​
The Vice President of Trade Show Association Sponsorships will lead efforts to establish and grow strategic partnerships with trade associations and event organizers. This executive role focuses on expanding sponsorship opportunities, generating non-dues revenue for event organizers, and enhancing visibility for exhibitors through innovative out-of-home (OOH) media solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development

Identify, pursue, and secure new sponsorship partnerships with trade associations and event organizers.

Negotiate and finalize agreements that appoint the organization as the exclusive OOH sponsorship provider.
Revenue Growth

Drive initiatives that create new streams of non-dues revenue for event organizers.

Expand exhibitor visibility and sponsorship opportunities through tailored OOH media programs.
Industry Expertise

Leverage knowledge of advertising, media, and event marketing to design impactful sponsorship strategies.

Stay current with trends in OOH media and event marketing to maintain a competitive advantage.
Operational Excellence

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship programs.

Utilize CRM systems and productivity tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) to manage relationships and track performance.
Travel & Representation

Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the event and association landscape.
Qualifications

Established relationships with trade associations and event organizers.

Strong background in advertising, media, and event marketing.

Direct experience with out-of-home (OOH) media.

Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms.

Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
